Abstract

The afterglow intensity and duration of ZnGa2O4:Cr3+ are enhanced by regulating its trap distribution through doping lanthanide (Ln = Sm, Yb, Tb) ions guided by the VRBE diagram. The afterglow enhancement mechanism is analyzed in detail.
