Abstract
Ba(Zn1−xCox)2Si2O7 (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.50) solid solutions were synthesized as blue-violet inorganic pigments and the colour gradually changed from pale blue-violet to deep blue-violet with increasing the Co2+ concentration.
