Abstract

The magnetic properties of [Fe(bppCHO)2]X2 (X = ClO4 and BF4) are modulated by changing the counteranions, in which 1·ClO4 exhibits LIESST up to 53 K and a two-step SCO with a 26 K thermal hysteresis, while 1·BF4 exhibits only gradual SCO.
