Abstract

New chiral heteroleptic germanium(ii) and tin(ii) metallylenes were obtained using 1-(para-tolylsulfinyl)-3-tosyl-5-tert-butyl-benzene as a non-symmetric O,C,O-chelating pincer ligand.
