Abstract

A series of heterometallic dinuclear complexes [CoIIILnIII(L)(μ-Piv)2(Piv)2(OHMe)2] (LnIII = Dy, Tb, Ho and Er) are reported. Experimental magnetic studies and theoretical calculations indicate that Dy(iii) shows slow relaxation at low temperature.
