Abstract
Tetranuclear peroxotungstates exhibit highly efficient sulfoxidation. DFT calculations disclose the mechanism of sulfoxidation with H2O2catalyzed by [XO4{WO(O2)2}4]n−(X = SiIV, PV, SVI, AsV, and SeVI).
