Abstract

We develop NIR-emitting Gd1−xLux(Al1−xScx)3(BO3)4:0.01Cr3+ phosphors with a high IQE of 93.6%, broadened FWHM of 196 nm and zero-thermal-quenching. These phosphors can be used in the field of supplementary lighting of PSB photosynthesis.
