Abstract
Multi-locality is common in the age group between 18 and 29, mostly due to participation in education processes. The COVID-19 pandemic affected students by abruptly establishing new forms of learning (e.g., virtual classes). A quantitative survey of students from Leibniz University Hanover was conducted during the pandemic in 2020. The survey showed that 78 percent of students live multi-locally and that the pandemic considerably influences students’ multi-local lifestyles.
