Abstract
The title compound, C9H8N2OS, crystallizes with two molecules (AandB) in the asymmetric unit. The dihedral angles between the mean planes of the 1,3-benzothiazol-2-yl ring system and the acetamide group are 2.7 (4) (moleculeA) and 7.2 (2) Å (moleculeB). In the crystal, pairs of N—H...N hydrogen bonds link theAandBmolecules into dimers, generatingR22(8) loops. The dimers stack along [100].
