Abstract

The title compound, 6,7-dehydroroyleanone, C20H26O3[systematic name: (4bS)-3-hydroxy-2-isopropyl-4b,8,8-trimethyl-4b,5,6,7,8,8a-hexahydrophenanthrene-1,4-dione] was isolated fromTaxodium distichum(L.) Rich. The compound crystallizes in the space groupP21. The crystal structure features two O—H...O hydrogen bonds, forming chains along the [010] direction.
