Abstract
Each of the two unique molecules of the title compound, C17H15BrO3 is essentially planar. The crystal structure is stabilized by intramolecular and intermolecular C—H...O hydrogen bonds. These interactions link the symmetry-related molecules into infinite chains along the c axis. These chains are then stacked parallel to the b axis.
