Abstract
The phthalate salt of diprotonated ethylenediamine, C2H10N2+·C8H4O4−, was obtained during ongoing studies of the hydrolytic chemistry of phthalimides for the synthesis of efficient sensitizers for EuIIIand TbIIIphotoluminescence.
