Abstract

Objective: The aim of this study was to determine infant deaths and causes of deaths in Sivas. Material and Methods: In this descriptive study, infant deaths between 2013-2020 were analysed using Sivas Provincial Health Directorate data. Infant mortality rate, neonatal mortality rate, early neonatal, late neonatal and post neonatal mortality rates were calculated and their relationship with some maternal and infant characteristics were evaluated.
