Abstract
The Ising model is considered on a set of DNA together with RNA. DNA belongs to a mammal or bird, while RNA belongs to a virus. Here we use the methods of Gibbs measure theory to study the thermodynamic properties of this model, and these measures describe the phases (states) of the DNA-RNA system. Using a Markov chain (corresponding to Gibbs measures), we set the conditions (in terms of temperature) for DNA-RNA renaturation.
