Abstract

AbstractComplication avoidance during peripheral nerve surgery has received little attention in the neurosurgical literature. The goal of our two-part review is to discuss these possible complications, with this initial article highlighting the pitfalls associated with pre- and intraoperative assessment of nerve injuries, as well as the operative nuances used during brachial plexus exploration to minimize complications.
