Abstract
Abstract
A 66-year-old man experienced palinopsia (visual perseveration) that lasted for several minutes. A malignant glioma of the right occipital lobe was demonstrated radiologically and histologically. The lesions that can give rise to this phenomenon are usually neoplasms and vascular disorders. This symptom can be confused with hysteria or psychosis, especially when no objective clinical findings are demonstrable. The mechanism of this symptom is still obscure.
