Abstract
This article discusses a database which was designed to improve the efficiency of a graduate school's records management process pertaining to establishing new courses and changing existing courses in graduate academic departments. The course approval process is described along with the former record-keeping system. Both the design and practical applications of the database are highlighted. The on-line query process and the report writing features of the relational database package are discussed. The design of this database represents another step in an ongoing process to computerize all of the administrative activities at this particular graduate school.
