Abstract
This paper deals with solving the problems which are encountered in the implementation of drug education programs. The author reviews the current teaching methods being used in drug education programs, presents a rationale for program evaluation, and proceeds to make recommendations for comprehensive health and drug education programs. The author concludes that teacher training, classroom activities, university-school district relationships, school-community relationships, and administration of health and drug education programs must be re-examined if one is to come to a rational view of drug education.
