Abstract
The present communication is in continuation of that made to the Royal society on November 8 of last year. At an early stage of the enquiry, I noticed that the emotive effect varied considerably in magnitude upon the same subject (G. de D.) according as she was rested or fatigued, and that it was usually larger during the day than late in the evening; also that the electrical resistance was higher during the evening than during the day.
