Phase dispersion of three-layer zinc sulphide—cryolite coatings

Abstract

In an earlier publication (Jackson 1969) the calculation of phase dispersion from experimental observations was based on assumed approximate values which were not correct. A new calculation has been made based on the correct approximate values; the resulting values are given below. It is shown that the measurements of wavelength are not affected; these thus remain unchanged.
