Abstract
The number of distinct periodic forests whose largest clearings are of size
n
is known to be 1 (
n
= 1), 1 (
n
= 2), 12 (
n
= 3), and ∞ (
n
= 4). In this note it is shown that there exist an infinity of such forests for all
n
≥ 4.
