Abstract
Methods for investigating the γ rays from active isotopes are discussed. A method is described which permits the study of very faint samples. It is possible by this method to obtain information about the intensities as well as the energies of the γ rays. Such investigations necessitate knowledge of the efficiency curve for a secondary-electron radiator. With the aid of the known term schemes for Na
