Abstract
The disintegration by the emission of
γ
-rays of the metastable isotope of radio-bromine was investigated by the method of the cloud chamber. The principal
γ
-ray was found to have an energy of 47 kV and a coefficient of internal conversion in the
K
shell of 0.43. Confirmation of a weaker
γ
-ray of 37 kV was also obtained.
