Abstract
The slow decomposition of thin crystals of an explosive, silver cyanamide, has been studied by electron microscopy and diffraction over the temperature range 150 to 360 °C. The crystals were heated in a furnace, decomposing to a depth of up to 500 A, before being directly examined in the microscope.
