Abstract
The results are given of experimental and theoretical investigations of the speed-dependent sag and the first and second order vibration of a flexible rotor which does not possess complete axial symmetry. The measuring apparatus employed was actually designed to measure directly and record the variations mentioned at any section of a large alternator rotor.
