Abstract
The following record of observations is offered as a supplement to Dr. Eltringham’s researches upon the silk-producing apparatus of the male Hilara.
Hilara maura
, Eab.—Around Oxford this species is the commonest and most generally distributed of any in the genus, and is at the same time by far the most interesting because of its extraordinary and remarkably variable habits.
