The effect of hydrogen on superconductivity and magnetism in high- T c materials

Abstract

The experimental results of measurements on hydrogen charged YBaCuO materials are critically reviewed and evaluated. The following subjects are discussed: (i) The site of hydrogen in YBa 2 Cu 3 O 7 , (ii) superconductivity and normal state transport properties, (iii) structural changes and formation of a hydride phase and (iv) hydrogen-induced magnetism.
