Abstract
The similarity between heat, mass and streamwise-momentum transfer for the nonlinear Gortler vortex problem is pointed out. Quantitative interpretation of enhanced surface heat and mass transfer rates for unity Prandtl and Schmidt numbers are given. The relation between the visualized mushroomlike concentration distribution and the similar streamwise velocity development is also quantitatively interpreted.
