Abstract
Software development activity deals with the development of the healthcare software by using given resources. The allocation of the resources needs to be consistent with the scale of the project for which the resources are being allocated. The allocation of resources depends on the
scale of healthcare projects. As far as resource planning for healthcare projects is concerned, healthcare projects are similar to software development in other areas. In this research, the effort is made to quantify the scale of healthcare projects. The scale can be small, medium, or large.
Each scale has a different set of attributes associated with it. The quantification of attributes can further be translated to the actual number of resources to be allocated in terms of healthcare projects.
