Research and Application of Laser Light Device for Plant Growth

Abstract

This paper designs a new laser lighting device for plant growth using main spectroscopy technology by semiconductor laser to synthetize photosynthesis of plants in comparison with natural light (the control group). "Fengxiang" strawberry is used as an experimental material to study the effect of laser light on the growth and fruit quality of strawberry. The results show that the laser light has significantly increased the growth of strawberry plants, and the average fruit weight and plant weight index are higher than the control group. Moreover, soluble solids content, soluble sugar content, solid acid ratio and soluble protein content in strawberry fruit are significantly higher than those of the control group after the laser light treatment. Laser light promotes the realization of strawberry fruit ripening and marketing in advance. In short, the laser light plant growth device improves yield and fruit quality of strawberry greatly, achieves efficiency in production, and has a good prospect in the application and popularization.
