Abstract
In this work, cabbage-like NiCo2S4/MoS2 assemblies are prepared via a simple hydrothermal process. The as-prepared product as electrode material possesses a specific capacitance of 612 C g−1 at 1 A g−1 and 94% capacitance
retention after 10000 cycles at 10 A g−1. Furthermore, the as-assembled asymmetric supercapacitor exhibits an energy density of 73.3 Wh kg−1 at a power density of 453.4 W kg−1. It demonstrates that the cabbage-like structures present promising
applications in future energy storage devices.
