A New Heterocyclic Compound from Rhodiola crenulata on Severe Pediatric Pneumonia and Complete Chloroplast Genome Sequence

Abstract

Severe pneumonia in children is the main cause of death in infants and young children. Rhodiola crenulata, an important medicinal herb with various biological activities, is used as traditional drug for its content of different secondary metabolites. The role of a new compound extracted from R. crenulata on hypotension after anesthesia was determined, and the internal principle was discussed simultaneously. An animal model of pediatric pneumonia was built, and next the treatment of compound. ELISA was performed to detect the level of inflammatory cytokines released into the lavage fluid of alveoli. Real-time RT-PCR was exploited, and the signaling-pathway activation for NF-κB in the epithelial cells of alveoli was examined. Neighbor-joining phylogenetic results manifested that R. crenulata was clustered with other related categories.
