Abstract

The rare known linyphiid spider Walckenaeria incisa (O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1871) is recorded for the first time in Türkiye. Species were collected using pitfall traps in a red pine forest near Spil Mountain. With this record, the number species belonging to Walckenaeria in Türkiye has increased to 12. Walckenaeria stylifrons (O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1875) was also collected in the study area. The diagnostic photographs of the habitus and genitalia of both species are given.
