Abstract

We describe females, males and phoretic deutonymphs of Divilia orbiculata n. sp. (Hemisarcoptidae) collected under the bark of fallen birch twigs in Western Siberia in association with sordariomycete fungi. Adults were previously unknown in Divilia and we describe them for the first time. Divilia oculata Sevastianov, 1969, the type species of the genus Divilia, is redescribed based on the phoretic deutonymph (holotype).
