Abstract

The method for local marking of a metal surface with ultrafine particles of minerals are offered. Photoluminescence and electronic acoustic resonance methods have been used to study local marks created by minerals and their mixtures using the technology of mineral coatings. It is shown that local areas of metal samples containing microparticles of minerals produce clear signals in the form of luminescence emission peaks and electronic acoustic resonance damping parameters. Having a set of combinations in the form of various luminescent minerals and their mixtures, technological methods for the introduction of minerals and two measuring systems, it is possible to build a local, fairly easily determined marking with a large set of options.
