Transformation of Migration Corridors as a Consequence of Globalization Processes

Abstract

The article examines the impact of globalization processes on changing trends in international migration focusing on the formation and development of migration corridors. It presents the characteristics of the largest migration corridors from 2015 to 2022, analyzing their changes and the factors influencing their transformation in the current era. The risks associated with adopting the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly, and Legal Migration are explored. Additionally, the article substantiates the need for countries around the world to preserve their national identity and maintain the state-forming ethnic core under modern conditions.
