MUSEOS OLVIDADOS EN LA TIERRA DE CAMPOS DE VALLADOLID: EL CASO DE CINCO PUEBLOS CON GRAN VALOR PATRIMONIAL

Abstract

The Tierra de Campos, area located in the northwest part of the province of Valladolid, has an unknown heritage wealth located in many cases, in small towns near the capital of the province. The objective of this research is to analyze the communication and accessibility of museums of great tourist interest that, located in five small towns with less than 1000 inhabitants, do not manage to have a recognized place among the rest. Thanks to the visit and contact with several Mayors and City Council Secretaries of the towns under study, a descriptive and analytical study was obtained of the context of its accessibility for tourists and of the communicative signage in which several institutional agents intervene. The results do not leave anyone indifferent, as they confirm that there is a clear lack of coordination between managers and public institutions that work together in the communication and location of these museums of great heritage value in the area. La zona de Tierra de Campos, situada en la parte noroeste de la provincia de Valladolid, cuenta con una desconocida riqueza patrimonial localizada en muchos casos, en pequeños pueblos cercanos a la capital de la provincia. El objetivo de esta investigación es analizar la comunicación y accesibilidad de museos de gran interés turístico que, situados en cinco pequeños pueblos de menos de 1000 habitantes, no consiguen tener un lugar reconocido entre el resto. Gracias a la visita y contacto con varios alcaldes y secretarios de Ayuntamientos de los pueblos objeto de estudio, se han obtenido unos resultados descriptivos y analíticos del contexto de su accesibilidad para los turistas y de la señalética comunicativa en la que intervienen varios agentes institucionales. Los resultados no dejan indiferentes, al constatar que existe una descoordinación clara entre los gestores privados e instituciones públicas que, trabajan conjuntamente en la comunicación y localización de estos museos de gran valor patrimonial de la zona.
