1. Mariya Cherkasova has obtained her PhD in clinical psychology from McGill University (Montreal, Canada). Her doctoral research has focused on the neural substrates of attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). In particular, she examined the role of the dopamine system in the pathophysiology of ADHD. She is currently involved in research on the diagnosis and treatment outcome of adults with ADHD at the adult ADHD research program of the McGill University Health Centre (Canada).
2. Lily Hechtman is Professor of Psychiatry and Pediatrics at McGill University and Director of Research in the Division of Child Psychiatry. Her research has focused on prospective long-term (adolescents and adult) outcome in ADHD and factors that influence this outcome, diagnostic and treatment studies of adults with ADHD, and multisite multimodal treatment studies of children with ADHD (efficacy and long-term outcome). She has also received national and international achievement and research awards.
