2. Sophie Lehnerer graduated as medical doctor in 2011 and completed her doctorate about heat-shock-protein expression in sarcomas in 2012. She gained her medical experience in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Ireland, England and the USA and is currently resident in neurology at the Schön Klinik München (Germany), a competence center for Parkinson‘s disease.
3. Antonio Emanuele Elia got his medical degree in 2000. He has been a specialist in neurology since 2005 and gained his PhD in neuroscience in 2008. He worked at Gemelli Hospital – Catholic University of Rome, and since 2006 he works as staff neurologist at the Department of Movement Disorders of Carlo Besta Institute in Milan (Italy). He is involved in clinical genetic studies and clinical trials on movement disorders, including dystonia. He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters.
