1. Sabrina EB Schuck received her PhD in educational psychology from the University of California, Riverside (USA), and is currently Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the University of California, Irvine (UCI; USA) and Director of the UCI Academy (USA), a charter school for atypically developing children. She is the Principal Investigator on two studies of nonpharmacological interventions for children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder-like behaviors.
2. Melody Yi is a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Pediatrics, UCI Academy. She is a co-investigator on a National Institute of Child Health and Human Development-funded research study examining the effects of human–animal interactions on children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, for which she has developed an innovative observational system for capturing children’s level of and persistence in social engagement.
3. Francis M Crinella received his PhD in clinical neuropsychology from the Louisiana State University (USA) and is currently Clinical Professor of Pediatrics, Psychiatry and Human Behavior, and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the UCI. He is the author of five books, including Brain Mechanisms in Problem Solving and Intelligence (1990; Plenum, NY, USA), and has authored or coauthored more than 200 peer-reviewed publications and abstracts.
