1. Valérie Martel-Laferrière is a Medical Microbiologist with infectious disease training. She graduated from the Université de Montréal (QC, Canada) where she also completed her fellowship training. She is currently in residence at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (NY, USA), providing patient care and undergoing postgraduate training in the evaluation and treatment of viral hepatitis and HIV coinfection.
2. Douglas Dieterich is currently Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hepatology and Director of Continuing Medical Education in the Department of Medicine at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He has a triple appointment in the divisions of liver disease, gastroenterology and infectious diseases.
