Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine the interdisciplinary studies of the art of marbling, which was included in the UNESCO’s Convention for the Protection of the Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2014. Articles in Turkish and foreign literature were examined. Various databases (EBSCO, Scopus, ULAKBİM TR Index, SOBIAD, Web of Science, YOK Academic, Google Scholar) were searched using relevant keywords to reach academic studies on marbling. In addition, it was tried to reach different studies by going to the bibliography of each study. As a result of the literature review conducted since September 1, 2021, a total of 234 studies, including 47 postgraduate theses, 74 articles and 113 papers, were reached. The sources obtained were evaluated according to various data such as publication year, publication place, publication language, author information, keywords, and turned into tables and graphics. As a result of the study, the art of marbling; It has been determined that it is the subject of various disciplines, especially fine arts, handicrafts, archive, art history, health, but there are still deficiencies in the literature.
