Partnering for Success: Reenvisioning the Undergraduate Student Transition Experience Through the Lens of OT

Abstract

Abstract Date Presented 04/01/2022 This study explored undergraduate students’ transition into college from a holistic, occupation-based perspective. Survey and qualitative data results indicated that resources to promote organization, time management, relationship building, and engagement in self-care occupations were essential to student transitions. OT practitioners can work with universities to foster a sense of partnership and collaboration with students to address these essential areas.
