Abstract

Abstract In Brazil, the General Controllership of the State of Goiás (CGE-GO) created an Ecosystem of Citizen Participation, encompassing projects that encourage citizen participation and social accountability. However, the CGE-GO team is struggling to encourage and ensure the ecosystem’s expansion and full functioning. Henrique Ziller, Diego, Lucélia, Marjorie and the entire team’s goal is that the projects are not entirely dependent on the institution, and become part of civil society. Thus, they need strategies to mitigate risks to keep the Citizen Participation Ecosystem alive.
