Simultaneous presentation of Brugada syndrome and primary aldosteronism

Abstract

The authors present a case of a 42-year-old male patient, who was referred for evaluation for tachycardia. Detailed studies revealed Brugada syndrome and hypokalaemia due to primary aldosteronism. With this case report the authors draw attention to the risk of malignant ventricular tachycardia in a patient with low potassium level, especially in case of coexisting Brugada syndrome. Orv.
