Abstract
AbstractThe History of Geology Group's (HOGG) Bicentenary celebrations included a dinner on the site of the Freemasons' Tavern where the Geological Society was founded, entitled Dine with the Founding Fathers. It was organized by HOGG committee member, Dick Moody, who recounts the history of the Freemasons' Tavern, the difficulties leading up to the dinner and the highlights of a memorable evening.
