Abstract
Bacidia pycnidiata (Ramalinaceae), Malmidea nigromarginata (Malmideaceae), Porina malmei and P. nuculastrum (Porinaceae), and Pyrenula laetior and P. wrightii (Pyrenulaceae) are reported for the first time from India.
The specimens were collected from the state of Assam. Taxonomic descriptions, distributions, and illustrations are provided for each species.
