Abstract
ABSTRACTA two dimensional model for computer simulation of microwave heating of ceramics has been developed. The effects of microwave power, properties of ceramics, and thermal insulation on dynamic temperature distributions of ceramics under various processing conditions have been simulated. The practical solutions for eliminating thermal runaway and improving temperature homogeneity under microwave rapid heating can be approached using this computation technique.
