Anaesthetic management of a parturient with severe kyphoscoliosis

Abstract

Use of neuraxial block in a patient with severe kyphoscoliosis is controversial. We describe the anaesthetic management by spinal anaesthesia of a parturient with severe kyphoscoliosis in obstructed labour. The perioperative course was uneventful.
