Translating the Science of Reading Screening into Practice: Policies and Their Implications

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to discuss how the science of reading screening can be translated into practice. Many times, this happens through state policy. This article briefly reviews the science of reading screening literature and discusses how reading policy can shape how teachers screen students in reading.
